How have you adjusted your approach with clients during these difficult economic times? What have been the outcomes?
We are giving more value for the same fee. We focus our clients on outcomes and work with them to drive improvements in their business. Much of our work is retainer based, which is extremely useful in these challenging times. Winning individual contracts is tricky and can be time consuming, but the retainers are predictable and providing we focus on adding more value to our clients they will stay with us. This has proved to be the case.
What 3 key elements of Mindshop have you utilised most during these difficult times to help reshape your approach?
-
Growing market share: this is a key issue for our clients and the Mindshop toolbox is strong in this area.
-
Staff motivation: this is another key issue for our clients.
-
Senior Management Network: the partnership with this network is proving a key differentiator for us and a way of retaining clients and further enhancing the value for them. It is also a way for clients to retain us for an affordable price.
What do you see as the 3 key attributes of clients' businesses that are presently 'weathering the storm' well?
-
Clarity on target market. Knowing what their ideal customer looks like and not being drawn to work with people / businesses that fall outside this group.
- Clear positioning in the market and definable Unique Selling Proposition. Having identified this, knowing how to word the offering to target clients in order to attract them.
-
Team spirit.
Why did you join Mindshop, and how has Mindshop helped you achieve success?
We are business improvement consultants working primarily with professional service firms and successful entrepreneurs. I have been a licenced Mindshop facilitator since early 1997. Being a member of Mindshop means being part of a global network who are developing and providing best practice. The team at Mindshop are constantly coming up with new ideas and product offerings to add value to our increasing client base. The philosophy for how we do business emanates from our membership of Mindshop. They have become an integral part of our business model.
What is the number 1 reason why people should look to join Mindshop during these difficult times?
